Riggs Community Health Center Announces New Medical Director
Lafayette, Ind. – Veronique LeBlanc, President & CEO of the Riggs Community Health Center (Riggs CHC) is pleased to announce Ronald Louks, MD, MBA has been selected to serve as the center’s Vice President of Medical Affairs.
Dr. Louks earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1977 and his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine Indianapolis in 1981. He also received a MBA from Ball State University in 2004.
Dr. Louks is a member of the American College of Physcians and a Vanguard member of the American College of Physcian Executives. He has extensive experience with pharmacuetical companies through the Speakers Buearu.
“We are very pleased to have Dr. Louks joining the Center,” said Veronique LeBlanc, Riggs CHC’s President & CEO. “His experience will not only aid in caring for our current patients, but will also help us to expand and improve the functioning of our center.”
Established in 1988, Riggs CHC is a not-for-profit, federally qualified health center that provides quality health and dental care to area residents who have limited financial resources. In 2009, the Center treated 11,024 patients with over 41,000 office visits
The Riggs Community Health Center is open Monday through Friday and extended pediatric hours are available on Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Riggs CHC is located at 1716 Hartford Street in Lafayette and its telephone number is 765.742.1567.
