Riggs CHC believes in a holistic approach to health care which addresses the whole person, body and mind.  Riggs CHC's Behaviorists, also known as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LSCW) are mental health professionals who can help patients with behavioral health challenges find solutions to emotional issues from daily stress, anxiety, and depression to life's most difficult situations.

The Center's Behaviorist provide timely assessment, brief intervention, and behavioral health consultation with patients.  After meeting with a medical provider, the Behaviorist is available to assess and treat patients with behavioral concerns and work with the medical provider regarding questions and follow-up.  They can also connect patients with community resources which offer additional assistance and support.

 Who is Eligible?

Any Riggs CHC patient may seek behavioral health services at Riggs CHC.  Riggs CHC's Behaviorists serves adults, children, and families.  You may schedule your own appointment with the Behaviorist, no referral needed. 

 Fees will be based on a sliding fee for uninsured patients, or insurance (Medicaid/Medicare/Private) will be billed.  For more details see a patient services representative.
